Marsha Karle Artist and Illustrator Manchester Center, VT, USA 1-406-586-5916 Growing up in a California ranching family, Marsha Karle developed a deep affection for the agricultural landscapes of the Central Valley and the spectacular wilderness settings of the nearby High Sierra, but she soon broadened her enthusiasm for beautiful places. In 1981, she began a career as a national park professional in Denali National Park, Alaska, and over the next 23 years her National Park Service work immersed her in some of North America's most spectacular and beloved places, including Yellowstone (three times), Washington D.C., Everglades, Mount Rushmore, and Pearl Harbor. Her final assignment was an...
